Modest homage to greatness?

I have been pretty inspired these past few weeks with all the wonderful variety around me. Any path I explore leads to exciting possibilities and I just want to wander every path to unlock the magical secrets Portland has to offer. Oregon is a beautiful place and I am fortunate not to take this amazing city for granted. A transplant as we are often referred. How unfortunate to have been born in such a place and have to decide whether or not to explore the country and leave the best place I have known. Not really sure what this so called blog will become over here, but there is so much to share these days and I want to expose a bit of the bigger picture that there is life going on however you wish to pursue it and Portland is a fine example. Satisfying are the days just walking around taking in a gentle breeze and maybe a light sprinkle while gazing over the trees the green mountains behind the downtown scenery and all the dark clouds hanging out with the distant trees but there is barely a drop to concern you. I have been here just over a month and have walked about 40 or so miles. Hiked up the sludgy mountainous terrains with a staff in each hand digging for a path and prevailed to the overlooking glory. Sadly missing the old extinct volcano! Where are you volcano? :) Craft beer for a month a week a day a life. Quite a fortunate place to be. Inspired by the best forward thinking (sometimes) place I have known, hippies? I don't know. Why don't other people care elsewhere? The verdant haze sets over me a little deeper and I just started. Music sweeps everything away slooping deeper into the chair gonna go in deeper into the Portland green. Mixing with the yellows of earlier you see and even the deeper blacks. Golden beer for days and delicious stouts to mix a nice blue night filled with crafty dreams of many possibilities.
